Nas, I Am (Album Cover revisited)

In 1999 I sculpted the Death Mask for Hip Hop legend Nas, I Am album cover. I was hired by photographer Daniel Hastings, I was 24 years old. 20 years later I decided to recreate the sculpture updating it a bit by using the new techniques I've learned over the years. The first sculpture was made of a polymer clay, wire mesh and acrylic paint. The 2nd, was digitally modelled, 3D printed and plated in actual gold (24K).
