Simple Man

This half ton sculpture is made up of solid Hard Maple. It was the first project I created out of wood. I've been drawing this character since 1996. The sculpture is broken up into 12 parts that are held together with steel pins. I always wanted to make a giant hulking statue of this character, it was quite a challenge.
